From Gaza to Rojava : Muna Yusif, a palestinian refugee building the women’s revolution in Syria

Muna Yusif is a Palestinian from Gaza and a refugee in Syria. To this day, she plays an important role in the revolution and the development of women’s councils.

Syrian Women’s Council opens office in Damascus
The Syrian Women’s Council announced that it has officially opened its office in Damascus.
“Yûsif pointed out that the Syrian Women’s Council wants to further develop its successful experiences in Northern and Eastern Syria by
bringing them to Damascus, and added: “Women need to be represented in all institutions, especially the Constitutional Committee, and in all
areas of life.” The purpose of opening the office, continued Yûsif is “to strengthen dialogues among women and to bring women’s unity to life
in Northern and Eastern Syria, Suwayda, Jarabulus, Idlib and all other cities.”
