From Gaza, Mona remade her home and continued her struggle in Serekaniye. Here she speaks about forming consciousness, about becoming empowered, and what the revolution has done for women. Displaced once again the time by the the Turkish state’s occupation in North and East Syria, she’s now twice a refugee. But she talks more of that she’s gained than what she’s lost.
