The long term objective of the centre is to promote research in the human and social sciences that are related to women&#8217;s experiences past and present (including matriarchal society); women&#8217;s emancipation; and the creation of a democratic, ecological, and anti-patriarchal society.<\/p>\n<p>We especially focus on spreading Jineoloj\u00ee in Europe by networking with local associations and collectives who fight for women&#8217;s liberation and women&#8217;s rights. Rather than researching women&#8217;s lives and cultures from an &#8220;outsider&#8221; perspective, we give importance to encouraging women from different communities to research and (re) write their own histories and define their concerns and interests.<\/p>\n<p>Working together, this will empower women to act all round the world.
